| From Althea & Jim Gibson... Welcome to Highland Oaks Ranch Labrador Retrievers. We are nestled high a top our mountain of stately oaks on the beautiful California Central Coast. |
| About 20 years ago, we fell in love with the Labrador Breed when we added Thor, a chocolate Lab to our family. Thor was followed by a succession of Labs of varying characteristics. We found there is no better family dog than the Lab. |
| We decided to breed Labs specifically as family pets and have selected breeding stock to emphasize characteristics desirable in them; dogs who are healthy, good companions, and who socialize and train easily. |
| Our Labs have the run of our ranch, which keeps them fit and healthy; being raised in the open air on our ranch, our dogs have the option to swim in our pool, or to experience nature at its finest. |
We currently raise Yellow and Black Labs. We breed a limited number of litters per year. We welcome your visits by appointment. We love to hear your Labrador stories as well as share our Love of the Labrador with you! |
